The second edition of ‘Catalyst – Science quiz with a difference’ will be held on Feb. 7 at The Music Academy, TTK Road.
Organised as part of The Hindu’s Newspaper In Education (NIE) initiatives, the quiz is open for students of classes 9 to 12.
The quiz starts with a written preliminary round and top six teams will contest in the finals. The preliminary round will begin at 10 a.m.
Schools can send a maximum of 5 teams of two participants each.
Winners will get a cash prize of Rs.25,000, first and second runners up will get Rs.15,000 and Rs.10,000 respectively. Three consolation prizes of Rs.5,000 each will be awarded.
Sathyabama University presents the quiz. Giri ‘Pick Brain’ Balasubramaniam will be the quiz master.
