Parents turn teachers at PSBB, Nungambakkam

This year’s Teachers’ day celebration was different at PSBB School, Nungambakkam. The students had the pleasure of having Ramachandran, their former vice principal and head of Math department amidst them on that day. He threw light on the life of the noble teacher - Dr. Radhakrishnan in his speech. He also made the students put on their thinking caps while he showed them a few math tricks. As part of the golden jubilee celebrations, the PSBB Group pf Schools invited parents to take classes for all standards on whichever subject they were most comfortable with, on this special occasion. The students gave a warm welcome to the parents and listened to them taking classes. They also presented the parents ‘Welcome’ and ‘Thank You’ cards designed by the students themselves. The students took this opportunity to show their gratitude towards their committed and dedicated teachers who took to teaching as their mission by presenting the teachers with a cake which was cut by the Dean and Director of PSBB – Dr. Mrs. Y. G. Parthasarathy. A smile on each and every teacher, student as well as the parents present at the school on the day proved the cordial relationship amongst them.
