Valedictory function of the silver jubilee celebrations of Sri Sankara Vidyalaya M.H.S.School, Pammal was celebrated on the August 27 at the school campus.
Hon’ble Dr.Justice A. R. Lakshmanan, presided over the celebration.. The Secretary of the school Dr. R. Gopalan welcomed the gathering. Smt. Malathy Balakrishnan, Principal presented the annual report.
Inauguration of the silver jubilee block and TAG Auditorium at the school marked the Silver jubilee celebration. A Souvenir was also released on the occasion.
Over 150 students were presented awards for the excellence in the academic front. Isai Mazhalai Carnatic vocal music classes was launched by ‘Abaswaram’ Ramjhi.
Justice A. R. Lakshman in his presidential address insisted on moral education in school.
After the vote of thanks proposed by Miss Chandralekha, Vice Principal, the students presented the variety entertainment programme with all pomp and show.
While the K. G students presented a fusion dance, primary class students did their part of the show by singing devotional songs. The highlight of the day was a dance 
drama titled ‘Hayagrevam Upasmahe’ by high school students. The enthralling progamme by the students by the audience spell bound. The day’s events ended with National Anthem.
