There was a musician by name Ram
And there was a harmonium in his hand
He used to play it to the fawns
And his music was better than a band.

He wanted music to spread
As told by his ancestors, now dead
He tried to spread music to every creed
And he tried to sow his music seed.

As he went walking through the garden
With the harmonium in his neck not as a burden
When he heard some funny noises
He stopped, to hear those funny voices.

It were the school children playing with freedom
Caring for nothing, without any boredom
The children sat beside Ram to see his action
Ram sang to the children with satisfaction
Hey Ram, but the children showed no reaction.

He thought the children were not happy
And he tried with his harmonium another song
Putting all his effort
And he played the best music,
Which he had ever learnt in his lifetime
The children still not impressed
His mind was totally depressed.

Frustrated with his harmonium
And angry with his music
He threw his harmonium which broke into pieces
And he vowed not to sing again.
As he did not get any praises and
As he could not impress the children with his music.
Sad that he didn’t impress the children
He walked away from the garden
I feel very bad that he
Did not see the board on the children’s school bus
In which it was written
“St.Louis School for Deaf and Dumb”
