This year (2022) marks the 75th year of India’s Independence, and during the past year, the country celebrated the landmark year with the theme ‘Azadi ka Amrit Utsav.’ Encouraging citizens to hoist the national flag on their houses as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the flag codes were modified. People were allowed to keep the hoisted flag in their homes and buildings from Aug. 13 to 15, 2022.
