CAMP NEUVE – SEASON 3

Dates:

Batch I – May 2 – May 13, 2011

Age Group : 13 – 19 yrs.

Time: 9.30 a.m to 11.30 a.m

Brief:

This is the 3rd season of MYT conducted summer workshops for Youth & Teen theater enthusiasts. The workshop involves learning the basics of acting, the fundamentals of stage performance and story-telling, an introduction to voice and body upkeep which is a very essential part of an actor’s discipline, breathing techniques, voice projection and modulation essentials and learning to improvise scenes and scripts.

The workshop leads to a production which will span 6 to 8 weeks of daily rehearsals in the evenings.
Participation in the theatre production is not compulsory for those who do not want to.

Batch II – May 16 – May 27, 2011

Age Group – 8 – 13 yrs

Time: 10.00 a.m to 12.00 noon

Brief:

This is the 2nd season of MYT conducted summer workshops for the Tweens. This workshop will initiate the participants of this age group to mainstream theatre. The workshop participants would automatically become part of our children’s theatre company – THE BEAR&BEANBAG CHILDREN’S THEATER, which produced and presented the popular BRER RABBIT’S TALES by ENID BLYTON last year as its first production.
 

At the workshop, the participants would discover their talents and ability to enact roles more confidently and at a more refined level, where they can improvise a scene or create a character by themselves.

The workshop would lead to a formal performed story presentation. The presentation process begins after the end of the workshop and would last for further 3 or 4 weeks. Participation in the presentation is not compulsory.
