An evening of piano in Chennai

On 14th March, 2010, a piano recital by Paolo Vergari was conducted at Sivagami Petachi auditorium, Mylapore.  It was part of the Festa Italiana programme done in Chennai every year.

Paolo Vergari was born in Falerone, Italy.  He studied piano and composition at Pescara with Giovanna de Fanti and has performed many concerts as a soloist and Orchestras.

His performances have been broadcast worldwide by TV, radio, etc.,  The performance was full of rhythm and tune and was very pleasant to the ears.   He performed pieces from the repertoires of Bach, Respigi, Liszt-Verdi and others.  The way Vergari played was so effective that the audiences’ moods changed accordingly to the songs played.

No one blinked an eye and 90 minutes just flew by.  It was a brilliant concert that was very beautiful.  It was a great source of relaxation and indeed a treat for the ears.
