M.T.S. Academy, Mylapore and Nehru Yuva Kendra, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India are jointly organising ‘Arivukkalanjiyam Award Competitions 2010’.
The competitions for children studying in classes I to IX. include recitation, oration, story telling, mono – acting, fancy dress, essay in Tamil – English, music and drawing. It will be conducted in three levels.
The kid with the highest score in all the 10 competitions will be given the Arivukkalanjiyam Award with prize money of Rs.2000 in each level.
Five other prizes will also be given – Arivu Malar, Arivu Thulir, Arivu Kathir, Arivu Puthir and Arivu Thalir. All the participants will receive ‘Certificate of Participation’.
Children who wish to participate need to register their names and collect the materials required for the competition on or before June 5.
