M.CT.M. Chidambaram Chettiyar Matric. Higher Secondary School, Mylapore, celebrated Sishu-Utsav for the students of classes 1 to 5 on Sep. 26.
The principal Seethalakshmi Raghavan inagurated the culturals by lighting the Kuthuvilakku. The various competitions included Mono-acting, Solo Dance, Creative writing and Oratorical competition.
On Sep. 27 the culturals for classes 6 to 12 were held at the school. Titled ‘Tejasvin’, the event had many competitions to take part in. Some of them were Ad-Act, SuDoKu, Cross-words, and Light-music.
The students enjoyed and had fun throughout the day. The Yellow house – Vindhyas, won the first place in the culturals.
Mr. Mohan Ram, a wellknown TV personality was the chief guest for the valedictory function. He
addressed the students and distributed the prizes.
