Residents of Chennai can now order vegetables and fruits and receive them at their homes. The arrangement is made in order to avoid crowding at local markets and also to help people who are unable to go out during the lockdown in force due to COVID-19 outbreak.

Individual buyers can use apps – Swiggy, Zomato and Dunzo.
Colonies and buildings with more than 25 families can place bulk orders through their Resident Welfare Associations. A vehicle loaded with vegetables and fruits will arrive at their campus. People are advised to follow social distancing, wearing masks and not crowding while buying in colonies.
