The students selected for the Student Reporter Programme of this year caught up for a short introductory meeting at the Children’s Club, Mylapore on June 8, 2014.
The meeting was held between 10.30 a.m and 12 noon. Brisk looking students between age groups 11 and 17 filled the room. The meeting was conducted by the editor of Yocee, Revathi.
She gave the kids an idea about how to report and send it to Yocee. She explained what she wanted to say in the form of funny quotes to make it easy for the kids to understand. The introductory meeting was so exciting that all the ‘reporters’ are now ready and eager to go out and report.
The student reporters will train and report from this month onwards till May 2015.
