This year’s cultural season started off with Kalpakosha 2013 hosted by Sir Sivaswami Kalalaya Senior Secondary School on June 26 and 27, 2013. With over 30 schools participating, the ceremony was a grand affair.
The Inauguration was attended by playback singer Pop Shalini who sang a few songs for the audience. The students got the opportunity to try their hands in 15 competitions including Block and Tackle, Lawyer Up, DumbC, Ship Wreck, JAM, Painting, Lexicon, Dance, and Music.
P.S.Senior Secondary School was declared as the overall winners of Kalpakosha 2013.
Also, Barath Balaji of P.S. Senior was declared the Individual overall winner and received ipad Mini as the grand prize.
The prizes were distributed on the second day during the Valedictory ceremony by the multifaceted actor and comedian Mr. Bosskey.
Kalpakosha 2013 thus ended well with both the hosts and the participants looking forward to the next year’s Culturals.
