The Investiture Ceremony of the D.A.V Group of Schools, Gopalapuram was held on 2nd July 2014. Chief Guest Shri Jaidev, the Secretary ,D.A.V Group of schools presided over the ceremony.
The student council of the D.A.V Group of Schools, Gopalapuram led by Head girl, S. Smruthi of D.A.V Girls Senior Secondary School, Head Boy, Nikhil Ramesh of D.A.V Boys Senior Secondary School , Head Girl K.K. Aparna and Head Boy Vimalan Shivashankar of D.A.V Matriculation Higher Secondary school were sworn in during the ceremony. The students took a solemn oath to be true to their appointment without fear or favour and to uphold the dignity of their schools.
The event concluded with the Secretary congratulating the newly chosen office bearers urging them to be steadfast in fulfilling their responsibility towards serving the school community. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
