As part of the weekend at the park series, Sundaram Finance will organize an art workshop on Sep. 3, 2011 evening between 4 and 5.30 at Nageswara Rao Park, Luz, Mylapore.
Children in the age group 9-13years can participate and learn the art of aluminium embossing and painting.
Using a simple technique, children will be taught to emboss their favourite picture on an aluminium sheet. Once the picture is raised and has a definite shape and a design to it, they can unleash their creativity by splurging colours of their choice on the picture. When done, the aluminium sheet can be framed to adorn the walls of their homes or could even be looked at as an option to gift.
