After documenting the Tamil Nadu Elections in our first edition of the eBook, YOCee Student Interns continued doing what reporters do best; Observing the world around them and telling stories that matter.
We are delighted to present YOCee Summer of 2026: eBook Issue 2, a collection of reports published on YOCee throughout the summer by our student interns.
From neighbourhood happenings and community initiatives to stories on global warming, social awareness and inspiring human experiences, this edition reflects the wide range of subjects our young journalists chose to explore. Every report began with curiosity, grew through careful observation and conversations, and was published on YOCee as part of our ongoing commitment to youth journalism.
This eBook brings those published stories together in one place, making them easy to read, revisit and share.
A Celebration of Young Journalism
The stories in this edition remind us that news is not limited to politics or major events. Important stories are often found in our own streets, schools, parks and neighbourhoods. They can be about people making a difference, environmental concerns, acts of kindness or voices that deserve to be heard.
Compiled by Student Editors
True to the spirit of YOCee, this publication was put together by young journalists themselves.
Two student interns, Rida Mahmood Sait and Meenaakshi Rajesvari carefully briought together the work of their fellow interns into this second eBook edition. Their effort demonstrates that journalism is as much about teamwork and presentation as it is about reporting.
This eBook is another milestone in this year’s Summer Internship journey.
We congratulate every student reporter whose work appears in this edition and the student editors whose dedication made this publication possible.
We hope you enjoy reading these stories as much as our young journalists enjoyed discovering and reporting them.

When YOCee’s student reporters get busy, the team at YOCee’s small office takes up the role of the reporters, does the rounds, writes copies and files reports. The team also posts useful info and ePapers produced in-house.
