Young reporters’ programme begins

Yocee launched its annual student reporter programme on May 22, 2011 at Crossword Bookstore, Alwarpet.

Ms. Revathi, the editor of YOCee introduced the new batch of young reporters to journalism and news reporting. As many as 30 children were present at the meeting along with their parents.

These student reporters will be reporting for YOCee from June 2011 to May 2012. The reporters are of different age groups and are from different schools in Chennai and its suburbs. All the students participated actively in the interactions.

Each of the students received a reporters kit with a handbook on reporting and reporters’ identity card. After a group photo, the reporters got ready for an interesting year-long programme of news reporting.
