Who can apply?
Students of Classes 6 to 12 studying in Chennai and Bangalore.
What do student reporters do?
- Report news and events from school and neighbourhoods
- Interview interesting people
- Get articles published on YOCee with your own byline
- Learn basic news reporting, writing, communication and interviewing skills
How does the programme work?
Selected student reporters will receive assignments, guidance and feedback from the YOCee team throughout the year. Reporters are expected to submit at least 2 reports every month and can also take part in occasional meet-ups and sessions with journalists.

- Limited seats: Only 25 student reporters will be selected

When YOCee’s student reporters get busy, the team at YOCee’s small office takes up the role of the reporters, does the rounds, writes copies and files reports. The team also posts useful info and ePapers produced in-house.
