Children of ages 9 to 16 years along with young accompanists will present a Carnatic music choir next weekend.
Conceptulaised and directed by the well-known Carnatic musician, Bombay Jayashri, the event will have a story around Carnatic music. Eighteen children have been trained now for the big day.
Organised by Bhoomija, a Bangalore based organisation that promotes performing arts, the show will be held at The Music Academy, 168, TTK Road, Chennai 14, On Sep. 15, 2013 from 6 p.m. onwards.
