As part of the ‘Weekend at the Park’ series, Sundaram Finance will organize a ‘Colour Sand Art” workshop on Saturday April 23, 2011 between 4.00 pm and 5.30pm.
This programme is different, in that, children will get to splurge coloured sand on chart paper that will bring out their favourite patterns. It is a workshop that promises to bring out the creativity in children in the natural surroundings of the Nageswara Rao Park, Mylapore.
The objective of the Weekend at the Park activity is to encourage children to step out of the confines of their homes and enjoy nature in all its splendour while using the spaces in the park constructively and creatively, say the organisers, Sundaram Finance. They also conducts Sunday Kutcheri on the first Sunday of every month at the Nageswara Rao Park.
Children in the age group of 8-12years can participate in th Colour Sand Art workshop. Open to the first 30 registrants.
