The Ashram school came alive once again this year on Nov. 9 and 10. The school conducted its ‘ARMFEST’ at the Vani Mahal on G.N. Chetty Road, T. Nagar.
The day one started with the all josh. All the programs tickled the innovative and the creative brains to carve Armfest in their life. With the special judges Vijay Sarathy and Badava Gopi who were invited for the events, their alumni themselves were capable of judging many of the contests.
Although only 6-8 schools participated, the spirit of competing remained very high.
The two day event was entirely organised by the Plus 2 students of the school and the Ashram Alumni Association with
a little help from their school.
The various events were photography, collage,robot designing, robo ramp, etc. The first and second overall trophy went to Vani Vidhyalaya and NSN Chrompet respectively.
Student particiapnts felt that since it was conducted in a public hall, the school atmosphere was missing. But, when it comes to competition, the spirit is always high and the event turned out to be fantabulous.
