The ‘Kutcheri in the Park’ series will feature young Dhanyatha Venkatesan on Sunday, May 7, 2023. She will perform a ‘mikeless’ vocal concert at the Nageswara Rao Park, Luz, Mylapore from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.
Dhanyatha is a student of vocalist Dr. Gayathri Venkatesan. Sruthi Priya on the violin and Palani R. Madhavkrishna on mridangam will accompany her in the kutcheri. If you are at the park during the concert, watch out for a grand Anandabhairavi composition among other songs.
The series is hosted by Sundaram Finance and is held on the first Sunday of every month.
