As part of Crossword Bookstores’ Children’s Hour programme, a gift wrapping workshop was conducted on Sunday, the 29th of May, 2011.
The workshop was for one hour, from 5 to 6 pm. About eight children participated in the event. Any visitor to Crossword could also sign up on the spot.
Not just the wrapping technique, but the resource person Mr. Arumugham also showed the childern how to gift-wrap any average, large, small, and irregularly sized parcels in brightly coloured wrapping sheets.
The parcels were finished into a beautiful bow or gift tags that the children decorated themselves.
