The Choolaimedu Exnora innovator’s club and the residents of Choolaimedu came together and appealed to B. Valarmathi, MLA of Thousand Lights constituency, to take immediate steps to address civic issues in their locality at an event held on May 28, 2011.
The meeting was held at 17th Main road , Zackria colony in Choolaimedu
The MLA Ms.Valarmathi and Dr. A. Panneerselvam, president of Choolaimedu Exnora Club released a board promising to keep Chooliamedu green and clean.
The MLA said, “Anytime ,anywhere – call me and I will be there as it is my duty to serve the people of my constituency.”
She also promised that she will look into the following problems faced by the residents as soon as possible, among others
– problems in changing door numbers
– electricity supply and maintenance
– garbage collection
