Tamil Nadu Board has postponed class 11 Public Exam 2020 which was scheduled to be conducted on March 26, 2020. The Board will, however, conduct 12th State Board Exam as per schedule.
The decision of postponement for class 11 exams was taken after the state government imposed Section 144 in all districts in the state due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
All schools, colleges and other educational institutions will remain closed till March 31, 2020. The Board has postponed the Class 10 SSLC 2020 Examinations, scheduled to begin from March 27, 2020 too. All other examinations and governmental elections to colleges and schools also stand postponed. The new dates are expected to be out after March 31, 2021 on the official site of the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu.
All the teachers and staff working in all the educational institutions will have to work from home till March 31, 2020. The restrictions are also applicable to Anganwadi centers, schools, colleges as well.
