Kids residing in Namasivayapuram slum in Choolaimedu, took part in the workshop organised by the New LEED Trust, a non-governmental organisation. They learnt to make a news bulletin with headlines, news in detail, news special and repeat headlines. They also recorded the news and edited it using a free sound software.

Chennai-based ‘Edutech Solutions’ has developed a website www.cjobs.in to enable teachers to get suitable jobs in the education domain.
The site will also help schools, colleges and universities to recruit right candidates as well.
Chennai student at Spelling Bee contest
M. Srivatsan, a class 6 student of Bhavan’s Rajaji Vidyashram, Kilpauk has won MaRRS International Spelling Bee contest, conducted in association with Cambridge University Press, at the national level.
He will compete at the international level of the competition to be held in Nepal in October. He came first in district and State level contest, and 11th in the national level.
