As part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations, P.S. Senior Secondary School, Mylapore, is staging a special play at the Narada Gana Sabha hall.
The production, titled Kaatriniley Varum Geetham, is based on the book by V.S.V. Ramanan, with dialogues by C.V. Chandramohan and direction by Lavanya Venugopal.
The play celebrates the life and music of legendary Carnatic vocalist M.S. Subbulakshmi, who was the first Indian musician to receive the Bharat Ratna. Students will bring her inspiring journey to the stage, blending theatre, music, and history in a performance that promises to be both educational and entertaining.
