Have you ever wondered what science has got to do with our lives?
But science is in our every day life – from our body to climate to the things we use …
For Rishabh Madhana, a student of class 4, science is more than his school books. Recently he got All India 2nd rank in the second level of 11th National Science Olympiad conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation. He will be awarded a silver medal and a laptop by the foundation at Delhi.

To create an interest in science from a very young age, there has been contests, talent finding exams that are conducted by various organisations in India nd at international levels too.
To take part in such exams and score top ranks, a few organisations in the city provide coaching through the year.
Brainy Einstein Educational Academy at Vijayanagar, Velachery is one such organisation that coaches students for the National Science Olympiad exams.
This academy is the brain child of Devi Bala Chandrasekar, director of this academy. She says that children nowadays are learning science without understanding the basic concepts behind them, which makes them to feel that science is a tough subject. The main objective of this academy is to nurture the young scientific minds by teaching the conceptsin science which is primemost for taking Science Talent exams, she adds.
New batches for Science Olympiad coaching will begin in April first week.
