The results of the higher secondary exams were announced last week. Two students from Chennai, C.S. Sresha of Velammal Matric with French as the second language and S. Mahalakshmi of DAV Higher Secondary School, Gopalapuram with Sanskrit as the second language, secured 1194 out of 1200 and are the highest scores in the exams. However, the state toppers with 1192 marks who studied Tamil as second language are from Tiruppur and Coimbatore.
