“Attention art lovers” calls out Ms. Meenakshi Madan, an art enthusiast, who now takes up a new endeavour to learn, explore, exhibit and buy paintings by the name – ‘Hues of Heart Studio’, the inauguration ceremony of which was held on 17th October ’10.
She launches Hues of Heart, with the aim of spreading the invaluable talent of paintings among all. She offers classes in eight levels in total, including basic free hand drawing, pencil shading, charcoal, pastels, watercolours, pen and ink media, acrylic, oil paintings
etc.
When asked why she chose “Hues of Heart” as a name, she immediately replies “Heart is the place where all emotions are developed and hues are different shades, these are the two important pre-requisites for any painting, hence the name”.
At 11a.m., a bright Sunday morning, Hues of Heart was launched with an inspirational guest lecture by artist Prof.Mr.A.Z.Ranjit, emphasizing on the highlights of this new venture by Ms Meenakshi Madan, a former teacher at PSBB KK Nagar.
A painting competition was also organized for all school children which was judges by Mr.R.Soundararajan with all participants being awarded certificates.
Ms. Madan, plans to start her classes from the 1st of November, and envisions to conduct regular seminars, with different artists coming and interacting with the students. She also plans to have outings on a monthly basis to give more perspective and experience to students.
She believes that art is a stress buster too an therefore, she has no age bar for her classes and has provided flexible timings. With this practical approach, she invites people to express their emotions, feelings through art.
