NalandaWay, a NGO which works with children from challenging situations help them raise their voices and issues through various art forms.
NalandaWay’s annual children’s festival Art, Arattai, Aarpattam (AAA) will be held from July 18 to 31, 2011. The festival conducted in partnership with UNICEF is a participative celebration of music. theatre, films, contests and workshops for kids.
The inauguration of the festival will be on July 18 at 6.30 p.m. at Museum theatre, Egmore. Classical pianist Anil Srinivasan and singers Unni Krishnan and Naresh Iyer will present classical numbers celebrating childhood.

Arts Carnival : July 18 to 30, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Museum Theatre.
Children will be exposed to pottery, Warli and pot painting, greeting card making, Origami, Candle making, jewellery making, puppet making and paper crafts through sessions conducted by professionals. For kids of ages 6 to 16 years.
Children’s Film Festival: July 18 to 22 and July 25 to 29. From 10 a.m. to 12 noon. At Museum Theatre.
Award winning children’s films will be screened.
