The Madras Youth Choir is conducting a choral music contest for school students from 9.30 a.m onwards on Jan. 19, in Bala Mandir German Hall (T. Nagar).
The songs can be based on national integration, environment, patriotism, nature or social awareness. Religious or film music is not permitted.
The winners will bag the M. B. Srinivasan Rolling Shield.
Registrations can be done at the venue. After the contest, a workshop will be conducted on singing Indian choral music.
