On Friday, the 5th of May, a group of children of the age group 8 to 13 had great fun in Bapalal Bhavan, Valmiki Nagar. The occasion: one of the numerous single-day camps held in the summer. IT Exnora efficiently organised the camp, which included games and videos. The children were made to sit in groups, thereby forming teams for the games. Every student also got certificates and, though the winners got a bit more, every child went home happy after the camp was over.
What was most impressive was that bar the vice-president who is 25, the other three conductors are in college. Also demanding high levels of appreciation is the fact that the four of them have made possible a mind-boggling eight in the last one-and-a-half month in the various corners of the city!
It was very enjoyable even to report the event, so one can only imagine the amount of satisfaction the organisers and the children would have had. Children aged thirteen or below should certainly check the camp out the next time it happens.
