The premiere of Shekar Dattatri’s film, ‘Chilka – The Jewel Of Odisha’, and the launch of his book ‘Ira the Little Dolphin’ is held on June 7, 2014.
Shekar Dattatri is a renowned wildlife filmmaker and conservationist. ‘Ira the Little Dolphin’ is his third book with Tulika after two more children books about wildlife- ‘Lai-Lai the Baby Elephant’ and ‘Riddle of the Ridley’.
Jointly organised by Tulika Books and Alliance Francaise, this event is held on the heels of World Environment Day which is celebrated every year on June 5.
