The Science City and the Department of Higher Education, Government of Tamil Nadu have organised the Chennai Science Festival 2011.
This festival is being held from the Jan. 29 to Feb.2 in the Science City, situated in the campus of Birla Planetarium.
There are 140 stalls to explore. Many labs, departments and universities like Anna University, Ramachandra Medical College, Atomic power plant Kalpakam, ISRO have put up exhibits and some have demos at the stalls.
Origami and puppetry based on science are at hand to explore science and math the fun way.
There are also lectures held every day on different topics. Cultural performances like Villupattu and street play on topics in Science are part of the festto.
