The Department of Mathematics, IIT Madras is hosting FORAYS, a festival providing a platform for talented students to exhibit their mathematical creativity on March 1, 2015.
The two decade old intercollegiate festival has since expanded to include a number of events for school students also.
This year’s festival has lectures by specialists like Prof. I.K. Rana, Prof. R.Ramanujam, Prof. M.T Nair, Dr. Venkata Balaji T.E.
There will be Olympiads for school and college students, quizzes – for school and college students in separate batches, one quiz exclusively for masters and doctoral students, treasure hunt (exclusively for school students) and many other interesting events.
Venue: Central Lecture Theatre, IIT Madras.
Registration on spot from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the venue.
