A group of eight children from the Veenavadhini Sangita Sampradaya Trust are presenting a mikeless concert featuring the ‘nottuswaras‘ of Muthswami Dikshitar this Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015.
The concert will take place at the Nageswara Rao Park, Luz Mylapore at 7 a.m. The children are disciples of the well-known veena artistes Jayasri and Jayaraaj Krishnan. The group of children will be accompanied on the veena by H.R. Meenakshi, on the violin by T.V. Sukanya and on the mridangam by R. Pranav.
