Chennai is among the seven airports, to whom an advisory to implement thermal screening of passengers from China, is issued by the Ministry of Civil Aviation. This advisory comes in the wake of Novel Corona Virus Disease in China.
The passengers are required to fill up ‘Self Reporting Form’ before disembarkation at the airport.
Novel Coronavirus disease
Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) is an infectious disease caused by a new virus.
The disease causes respiratory illness (like the flu) with symptoms such as a cough, fever, and in more severe cases, difficulty breathing. You can protect yourself by washing your hands frequently, avoiding touching your face, and avoiding close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell.

When YOCee’s student reporters get busy, the team at YOCee’s small office takes up the role of the reporters, does the rounds, writes copies and files reports. The team also posts useful info and ePapers produced in-house.
