Meet M.S. Shwetha, one of the finest young artists of Chennai. Barely 14, Shwetha has the skills of a trained artist. Her paintings have lots of beauty and give us a meaning.
This young artist began her magical journey at the age of three, when she was bored and her mother gave her some paints to play with. She was immediately fascinated by the beautiful colours.
“I was inspired by my father”, she says. Her dad Mr. S.G Mahadevan is a businessman, but painting is his hobby since his collegedays.
Shwetha has already won fifty six awards and has conducted three exhibitions. Her first exhibition was in the year 2008, at Lalit Kala Academy in Chennai. Each painting was priced between the range of Rs. 1000 to Rs. 4000. This exhibition attracted many art lovers of the city.
Shwetha has plans to let her artistic skills lead her to a wonderful profession. She has many other interests like playing chess and basketball, but her goal is to be an artist.
