Do you know that the average lifespan of a plastic bag is around 12 minutes?

Most of us throw a reusable plastic bag after a single-use. This notorious bag then finds its way into landfills or oceans and persists in the environment for decades to come.

Taking around five centuries to decompose, a plastic bottle too adversely impacts our surroundings. In fact, at every step from its creation to its disposal, it causes pollution.

In the past week, I felt quite contented after I reused a plastic bottle to make a bird feeder. Although, I must admit, I am still waiting for a winged visitor to come by!
